Enhances the aspect and performance of Google Reader.
Google Reader is by far the most used feed reader. Nevertheless, on some occasions we miss many useful options. Many of these options can be implemented thanks to
Better GReader, a
compliment for Firefox that transforms
Google Reader into the reader it should be.
With
Better GReader it is possible to change the general appearance of Google Reader to levels beyond suspicion, from using
Helvetica font (a lot easier to read) to
getting rid of all the unnecessary elements from the interface with the idea of maximizing the contents area.
What's more,
Better GReader downloads the
favicon (that small logo that appears beside each web direction) and associates it with the feed we have in the reader. It is even possible to configure it so that
each feed is underlined in a different color. It also
adds a button at the end of each post to preview it in a frame (without leaving Google Reader).
Better GReader is basically a plug-in formed by the well known
Greasemonkey extension and some very popular scripts, all pack so that they are a lot easier to configure and use.
